Every artwork from Dietrich Fine Art is produced as a strictly limited edition. My edition structure is designed to protect long‑term value, ensure scarcity, and provide collectors with confidence in the integrity of their investment.
Edition Structure
Edition Size: 4 or 5 (clearly described on individual artwork pages)
Artist Proofs: 2 (AP1 and AP2)
Artist Archive Print: (not for sale)
This structure ensures that each artwork remains rare, collectible, and protected from oversupply.
Artist Proofs (AP1 & AP2)
Artist Proofs are printed outside the numbered edition and are traditionally reserved for the artist’s personal use, exhibitions, or special collectors.
AP1 May be made available at the artist’s discretion.
AP2 Only released after the main edition has sold out.
This ensures that AP2 remains one of the rarest and most desirable versions of the artwork. Artist Proofs typically command a premium due to their scarcity and their historical role in fine art printing.
Artist Archive Print
One print from every edition is permanently preserved in the Dietrich Fine Art Archive.
This print is not for sale and serves as:
- a historical record of the artwork
- a provenance reference
- a long‑term preservation of the artist’s catalogue
The archive print reinforces the integrity and authenticity of the edition.
Step‑Up Pricing Model
To protect collector value, each print in an edition increases in price as the edition sells down.
This model ensures:
- early collectors benefit from lower pricing
- each sale reflects rising demand
- the edition gains value over time
- the final prints in the edition represent the highest market value

All prints are produced using museum‑grade materials:

Process: Archival giclée printing
Longevity: 100+ years under proper conditions
Finish: Matte, with exceptional tonal depth and detail Each print is inspected, signed, and prepared personally and shipped by the artist.
Documentation & Provenance
Every artwork includes:
- Certificate of Authenticity (COA) Signed, numbered, and detailing edition structure and print specifications.
- Artist Statement Providing context, intent, and conceptual background.
- Model Statement (for figurative works, when available)
- Print Lab Certificate of Authenticity Provides proof of the quality of the print and it's medium.
Reinforcing ethical practice and transparency. These documents ensure that each collector receives a complete provenance package.
